I want to be healthier at 60 than I was at 30. We get one shot with one body and my goal is to make the most of it. I strive to fuel my body instead of feed it. While food was given to us by our Creator to be enjoyed, it was never meant to be abused as we tend to do in our society. However, I don't personally feel that we need to deprive ourselves of certain foods; rather just enjoy them in moderation.
About Me:
I enjoy health and wellness, exercise and spending time with my family. I have 3 very active children who love sports and a husband who also enjoys working out and lifting. We believe in natural nutrition - not that hyped up stuff you hear about at the stores. I have access to amazing botanically based nutritional products that have just blown us away in terms of what they have done for us. I would love to share these ideas with others in this forum.

Like the 'one shot' expression...can't go back, can only change moving forward!! (I think my wife is in similar field to you to...disability mgmt!?)

Yes, it is Arbonne. The products are all botanically based (organic whenever possible - although we are not certified organic), vegan and Kosher certified, contain no artificial colors, no chemical fragrances and no mineral oil. In other words, we like to say pure, safe and beneficial. I would love to share some samples with you. Even if it isn't a fit for you or what you are looking for, you might know someone who is looking for just that very thing.

Hey Beth, How are you? Thanks for your msge :) I love what your profile says: "I fuel my body instead of feed it" That's powerful, will stick it on my fridge! I also have 3kids Jack-13 Jess-11 and Jade-2yrs, they are awesome,! And you mentioned you were going to be a big 39 soon!? Well my big 40 is just around the corner, and I want to be stronger than ever. I work from home, I found an amazing business, that I can do from home, I absoloutely love it, in the Personal Development industry and I assist others in changing their lives thru a simple business system, I love it, It has totally changed our lives, The future is very exciting.

Ah yes, Arbonne. I am very familiar with their products and think their products are really great. I know a lot of people selling for Arbonne as well. I do recommend products/supplements but it all depends on the health issue I am treating and a number of other variables. However, I don't sell products but may in the future.

Hi!! My kids are 14 (girl) and 11 (boy) and I am happily married to a great guy!! My life is great, I follow a pretty healthy lifestyle but as so many other people it is trying to incorporate what we already know into a world that generally doesn't follow what we know to be good for us and healthy. I see those line-ups everyday at DQ and A&W and they don't order salads. My kids want to go to those places too, but we don't. Most people aren't trying like the people on this site, so I find it inspiring for myself to know there actually people out there that are just like me. I also believe in alternative forms of health care which I know from the information from you that you are a nurse and may not?? I haven't been to a medical doctor in probably 5 years. I see a naturopathic doctor and so does my family, I watched my dad pass away slowly from what I call a drug induced death. He was given so many meds over his life time I know that is what eventually killed him. Anyway enough about all that........I work as an interior designer in my small town and I sell window coverings and business is booming!! Very good business at this time. I have been doing this since the early 90's and now is a very good time for this type of thing!! Nice chatting!! Bye for now!!

Hi Beth,
Thanks for this message. I am interested in the site cause I am on a journey and doing lots of work and research. I have yo-yo dieted all of my adult life but last year I lost 60 lbs in 4 months with a shake diet called Optifast. I have kept the bulk of the weight off although some has returned but I am now working it from the inside out with working on why I eat, I also exercise times a week with a trainer. I have 2 boys aged 6 and 2. Never a dull moment ;-)

Yes, totally killer road trip! I wa sooo tired when we got back. I do medical case management for work comp. UGH....time to get out! What are you going to do with your masters?
