I am interested in the chronological, multicultural, ecological, and spiritual aspects of nutrition and dietary practice.
About Me:
I am an elementary school teacher with a strong interest in practical, cultural, and naturally-rooted health. I believe that health and healing are best addressed holistically, through exploration both broad and deep. I hope to have children in the next 3 - 5 years, and I wish to be as healthy as possible throughout the entire process, in order to enjoy Life to its fullest, and pass on to my children a legacy of mindful, meaningful living.

Thanks Jillian,
We're just putting in a veggie garden this spring. We've only been at our home for 2 years this Spring, so last year we worked on cleaning up the place. I planted a lot of heritage plants and herbs. So this year is our real challenge. I really want to plant garlic! I'm worried that I am being a bit optimistic and overzealous with my long list of "wants" in our space. I bought organic melon seeds and my husband cringed...we have limited space because we are on bedrock and the roots are intense. It will have to be a raised garden. Please post on the backyard farming space too. I'm hoping for lots of good advice throughout all of the trials and tribulations.
We don't have a lot of grass either...we have a lot of weeds:0 And we bought a real mower last year and it doesn't work all that well but it's better than a gas one....thanks for sharing!
