About Me:
Hi, I'm Nikki and I've always had a thirst for Nutrition. Whether it is continuously learning new things or educating others, I've always have a life long passion for Nutrition and Healing. I struggled with an eating disorder for 17 years and am proud to be in recovery for 5 years. During my recovery, I realized that my true passion in life is helping others in the same situation as well as other health related issues.... and I haven't looked back since.

Now, I am a holistic nutritionist and have a private practice called NAO Nutrition.com in NYC and virtually everywhere. www.naonutrition.com

NAO Nutrition’s customized nutrition coaching offers individuals the personalized support they need to improve their eating habits and lifestyle choices. As a team, we will incorporate smart, mindful practices into your daily life that are realistic for your busy schedule and your body’s individual needs. You'll learn how to easily integrate healthful habits into your daily lifestyle, achieving and surpassing your goals.

Working closely with Nikki in person or by phone or email, you’ll experience never-ending support, as well as the understanding and guidance required to look beyond the food on your plate, eventually identifying any underlying emotional and lifestyle triggers.

Learn how to be comfortable with wholesome food and provide your body the nutrients it needs. Whether you want to lose or gain weight, increase your energy level, address health concerns, or simply eat more intelligently, you'll achieve success through knowledge and encouragement. Nikki will be there with you every step of the way. Together, we will discover a path to well-being, self-love, and personal growth.

I am definitely attuning myself to a living/raw foods lifestyle. Although I love all things related to promoting optimal health, I am really drawn to the nutrition aspect, like what foods are great for overcoming certain illnesses, etc.. But I know that I want to educate others and counsel them holistically. I believe the key to a good life is all about cultivating healthy relationships to everything and keeping ourselves balanced. We are our relationships, as buddhist philosophy puts it; so, we become healthy when we create healthy relationships, like with our food and other people.

Thank you for your repsonse. It is great to connect with individuals like yourself. :) Take care for now.

Oh, wow...not sure how to begin. First of all here is the disclaimer...I do sell these products as a independent consultant and am absolutely passionate about helping people make better life choices. I don't want to make you feel like I am giving you a big "sales pitch". However, I am thinking that at some point I may do some sort of webinar for all my friends on FoodSpark. If nothing else it will be a "good to know" type of thing. The products are from Arbonne. Arbonne is a botanically based health and wellness company. We are vegan and Kosher certified. The protein shakes, whole food dietary supplements and detox products are absolutely amazing and have helped me so much in my personal health journey. You can learn more at www.gofigure8.com, www.arbonne.com or my site www.bethfriesen.myarbonne.com.

Now, in your practice, do you promote certain products that you have found to be helpful to clients? If not, what products do your clients generally use?

Hi there Nikki. Thank you for the friend request. I checked out your website and was very impressed. I am pursuing a similar path. I have self-educated myself on health and wellness for the past several years, but realize that I am going to need some certification/degree. I am heavily considering attending the Hippocrates Institute's Health Educator Program. Do you have any advice for how I can manifest a career in natural health? Thank you. :) Talk with you soon.

Hi Nikki!!! I enjoyed reading your profile it was very inspiring and I will be checking out your website. I am from a small town in Canada and I am surrounded by old time farmers that still must have bacon, sausages, fried eggs and white bread toast and coffee for breakfast every morning. Lunch and supper are no better and there is no rare food involved. Night time ends with a good stiff shot of rum and coke (or 2 or 3) because of the stresses of the day. I love this site because I see not all other people live that way!!! Thank God!!!
