About Me:
I've been a Registered Dietitian for 5 years. I graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax with a Bsc. in Applied Human Nutrition (Dietetics) in 2002. I worked as a Clinical Dietitian in the area of Mental Health for 3 years and I'm currently on-staff at the Ottawa Hospital working part-time in the areas of hematology and nephrology. I am currently only working part-time as an RD as I am pursueing a career in medicine. I am finishing my 3rd year (of 4 years) of medical school (M.D program) at the University of Ottawa. Yay! 3/4 doctor! ;) In September 2009 I will be marrying the love of my life - Christopher. I love to cook, read, play soccer, downhill ski, skate, sing, hike, swim and do yoga.

I just posted a study on mito disorders and autism on the autism group. I have no idea if you're interested, but thought I'd mention it. Seeing as you'll be a doctor in a couple of years (with expertise in nutrition to boot...yaaayyy!) you could change a lot of things pertaining to this new epidemic.
