2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
1 cup rolled oats
pinch of salt
1/4 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ginger powder
1/2 cinnamon
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1/2 cup carob or cocoa chips (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 375 F
2. Combine oats, flour, salt and spices in a bowl
3. Mix water, oil and maple syrup together using a whisk
4. Add liquid ingredients to dry and mix together well to form dough (fold in chips)
5. Shape pieces of dough into cookies and bake for 10 mins on each side
