I read Ultrametabolism and made a lot of changes to my diet, for the better I thought. Since then I have started getting sick more and more. First once a month, then once a week, now twice a week. I almost threw up in the grocery store today, and I am losing sleep and being unreliable at work and with friends. My life is becoming intolerable. I was wondering if anyone may know what is happeing or what I can do? I don't eat wheat, dairy, eggs, or soy and I only have sugar very very rarely. I have increased my intake of fruits and veggies and occasionally supplament with vitamin B100 complex and herbs like milk thistle and oregano oil. I always take the min recommended doses because I am only 100 pounds and I don't take pills every day. Help?

Kudos on doing the diet diary every day! I agree totally with Ashley's comments above but I would still like to know for how long you have been taking organo oil if you have a minute. Good luck.

I took it twice but stopped all supplements after this last near vomiting episode.

Ok, I'll leave you to take Ashley's advice in that case. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

I think that you should go and see a naturopath or a holistic health practitioner and be tested for food sensitivities or allergies. There are several non-invasive tests that can cover this, and practitioners that do ElectroDermal Screening or EAV (Electroacupuncture according to Voll) can gauge your whole body to see what is the issue. If it is increasing nausea and vomiting, I think that would be an overloaded liver (your liver trying to detoxify itself can lead to nausea and vomiting) which may be attributed to food sensitivities, environmental factors, toxins in your daily life, or many other things. Of course if you think that the problem is serious, go and see your medical doctor.

Hi, is there something in the supplement that you might be allergic to or at least have an intolerance to? It sounds as though if you have added a supplement into your daily diet, but do not eat dairy, soy, wheat and possibly other items - these are possible fillers that can be in supplements and it could actually cause physical pain and severe discomfort if you have an intolerance. A suggestion could also be gluten.

I am by no means a doctor though - but just do not overlook your ingredients by all means. (even if you think it could be helpful - it could very well help most, but you may have a sensitivity) just a thought!!

I hope you begin to feel better VERY SOON!

Hi,

I just joined the board and read your post and all the replies. I am curious if you have ever been to a chiropractor. If not, I would highly recommend finding a chiropractor near you that does a lot of work with nutrition, detoxification, allergies, and hormones. I would also hope that you could find one that did Neuro Emotional Technique (N.E.T.) and or Bio Energetic Synchronization Technique (B.E.S.T.). Both of these techniques are great at helping with PTSD and allergies. You would have a win win situation if you can find a chiropractor near you who did all of this.

The websites for the techniques to find practitioners near you are:

www.morter.com for B.E.S.T.
www.netmindbody.com for N.E.T.

I'd recommend www.innatechoice.com to find a chiropractor in your area that specialized in good nutritional approaches.

If you are not familiar with chiropractic care you can go to www.chiro.org and find some amazing information in all different areas of chiropractic.

I wish you all the best.

Feel better soon!

Leigh Anne
